My name is Matthew. I’m a first-principles thinker, outdoors enthusiast, optimizer, designer, and systems builder. I genuinely enjoy efficiency—not as a buzzword, but as the process of finding wasted motion, unnecessary complexity, and assumptions that no longer earn their place. I like understanding how something actually works, then rebuilding the problem around clear ownership, useful constraints, and the way people really use it. Time outside keeps that instinct grounded; software gives me somewhere precise to apply it.
